Adjunct Lecturer for Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Early Childhood Studies

Key Responsibilities  
\- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and/or workshops in assigned modules such as child development, curriculum design, pedagogy, assessment, and family engagement.  
\- Develop and update teaching materials to align with programme learning outcomes and current industry practices.  
\- Facilitate meaningful learning experiences using a variety of instructional strategies, including blended and experiential learning approaches.  
\- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback.  
\- Support students’ academic progress and professional growth.  
\- Ensure compliance with academic policies, quality assurance standards, and accreditation requirements.  
\- Participate in programme meetings, moderation, and curriculum review as required.  
  
Qualifications & Requirements  
\- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies or a related field.  
\- Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies or a closely related discipline is preferred.  
\- ACTA/ACLP certification is required.  
\- At least 3–5 years of relevant teaching and/or industry experience in early childhood settings.  
\- Prior teaching experience in higher education or adult learning environments is preferred.  
\- Familiarity with Singapore’s early childhood frameworks (e.g., NEL Framework, ECDA guidelines) is an advantage.  
\- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities.  
\- Experience in the following modules is highly preferred:

\- Children’s Voices, Listening and Agency  
\- Specialist Dissertation  
\- Mental Health and Socio-economic Wellbeing in Early Childhood  
\- Learning and Cognition Difficulties  
  
hourly rates: 70-80
