# Automation Tester/ Mobile Tester/ Test Engineer Contract

## Description

Banking / Fintech exposure is a must.  
Mobile testing experience is good to have.  
  
Responsibilities:  
\- Develop test plans, strategies, and cases based on business and non-functional requirements.  
\- Possess hands-on expertise in manual testing, including test case design, execution, defect tracking, and validation within agile environments.  
\- Proficient in API testing.  
\- Create and maintain automation test scripts using tools such as Espresso and Appium.  
\- Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and generate detailed reports for stakeholders.  
\- Troubleshoot bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams to implement fixes.  
\- Configure the test environment, manage test data, and use testing tools and software.  
  
Technical Expertise:  
\- Expertise in Functional Testing.  
\- Hands-on experience with Java/Kotlin.  
\- Solid understanding of e-banking, payments, or trading experience is good to have.  
\- Experience with test automation tool chains such as Cucumber, TestNG, Selenium, Appium, and Espresso.  
\- Experience in mobile automation using Appium for developing scripts.  
\- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab (preferred) and Jenkins.  
\- Development experience with hands-on exposure to Spring Boot or similar frameworks is preferred.  
\- Strong understanding of best practices, clean code policies, branching strategies, and security scans.
