## Description

Process Engineer  
  
Job Responsibilities:  
\- Prepare the initial basis of design with input from the business side.  
\- Conduct detail engineering, including initial layout, main plant technical specifications, preparation of tender documents, technical evaluation, and recommendations.  
\- Provide engineering support and clarification during project detail engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.  
\- Advise the automation, electrical, and instrument team on control philosophy, AEI design specification, and provide clarification during construction and commissioning phases.  
\- Perform process design, update, and conduct design calculations for new applications or equipment.  
\- Supervise draughtsman on engineering drawings.  
\- Participate in strategy planning and implementation with management support and approval.  
\- Prepare budget and estimation of investment and operational costs.  
\- Carry out other responsibilities and authorities as assigned by the superior from time to time.  
  
Requirements:  
\- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.  
\- 3 to 5 years of working experience, especially in oleochemicals or related fields, is an added advantage.  
\- Good communication skills.  
\- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.  
\- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required; Chinese proficiency is an advantage.  
\- Willingness to travel overseas.  
\- Self-directed and highly motivated.  
\- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.  
\- Detail-oriented, dependable, and trustworthy.
