Job Position: Assistant Quantity Surveyor  
  
Basic Salary:  
\- $3,000 - $5,000  
  
Working Area:  
\- 47 Pandan Loop, Singapore 128263  
  
Working Hours:  
\- 5.5 working days per week  
\- Monday to Friday: 8.00am – 5.00pm  
\- Saturday: 8.00am – 12.00pm  
  
Job Description:  
\- Evaluate tenders and quotations.  
\- Carry out quantity take-off for project tendering.  
\- Source and review costs from trade suppliers and subcontractors.  
\- Prepare preliminary design proposals for design and build projects.  
\- Prepare cost comparisons for management approval.  
\- Perform other quantity surveying related tasks as assigned.  
\- Produce AutoCAD drawings.  
\- Read and interpret M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) drawings.  
\- Review technical standards, specifications, datasheets, calculations, and drawings.  
\- Support and provide mechanical engineering design.  
\- Handle design works and/or project management relevant to ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation).  
\- Provide technical assistance to engineers.  
\- Advise engineers on project administration and contractual issues.  
\- Perform basic calculations for ACMV design.  
\- Conduct design calculations, duct sizing, heat load calculations, cost estimation, and preparation of plans and detailed engineering designs.  
\- Implement cost control measures.  
  
Requirements:  
\- Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or equivalent.  
\- Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.  
\- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.  
\- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.  
\- 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the construction field.
