Senior Accountant – Real Estate Investment Firm  
  
Overview:  
The firm manages over US$100bn in assets and operates in 30 countries, serving as a fiduciary to more than 950 pension funds and institutional investors worldwide. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for operational finance and corporate accounting across a portfolio of entities, reporting directly to the Finance Director and Finance Manager in the Singapore office.  
  
Roles & Responsibilities:  
\- Prepare and review monthly accounts, journal entries, and supporting schedules.  
\- Prepare and submit quarterly reporting packs and presentations, including variance analysis.  
\- Prepare and review payments and billings, including inter-company activities and staff claims.  
\- Handle cashflow projections, fixed deposit management, and bank account administration.  
\- Prepare and submit government financial statistical surveys/data and MAS regulatory returns/surveys.  
\- Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as internal and external auditors, corporate and GST tax agents, and corporate secretarial agents.  
\- Manage the annual audit process, including preparation of audited financial statements and schedules required by auditors and agents.  
\- Provide support to Finance Managers by ensuring timely and accurate financial information.  
\- Assist with ad hoc projects, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation of new system initiatives.  
  
Requirements:  
\- Degree in Accountancy, diploma, or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience.  
\- Ability to handle a full set of accounts.  
\- Capable of working collaboratively and taking initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently.  
\- Detail-oriented and highly motivated, with strong problem-solving skills.  
\- Good time management and organisational skills.  
\- Hands-on experience with accounting software, preferably Netsuite.  
\- Applicants with both audit and commercial experience are highly preferred.
