## Description

Intro: This role sits at the intersection of Data Engineering and Data Science. You will design data models, schemas, and pipelines while developing and testing custom analytical logic and algorithms. Acting as a bridge between Product, backend engineering, and data teams, you will interpret complex datasets to drive commercial decisions  
  
Core Responsibilities:  
Transform data by breaking down commercial goals from complex datasets.  
Develop, test, and iterate on custom analytical logic and business-critical algorithms  
Design end-to-end data models, schema design, data pipelines & quality boundaries.  
Interpreting data in the context of enterprise client operations  
Act as a bridge between Product Management, backend engineering and data teams  
  
About You:  
You could be an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst  
Analytical thinker who can validate algorithms & cross-check assumptions.  
Comfortable working with dense, multi-dimensional numerical frameworks.  
Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science  
  
Tech Stack:  
Python (programming and scripting).  
SQL, database normalization, schema architecture & version control systems (Git)  
  
Nice to have  
Databricks and PySpark is preferred (can learn on the job)  
Experience in a Product company, start up or commercial SaaS enterprise
