## Description

### About the role:

As an Trainee in Fund Operations, you play a vital support role in the daily operations of our Product Delivery team. You assist with a variety of tasks, such as updating shareholder registers, processing investor transactions, and supporting the team with client requests. You work closely with experienced colleagues, gaining hands-on experience and learning the fundamentals of fund administration, regulatory compliance, and investor services.

This position is based in Spain and reports directly to the Manager in Transfer Agency.

### Key Responsibilities:

-   Ensure the closing acceptance signed minutes and resolutions are stored in the fundcraft platform, sourcing them directly if not available from the Cosec team.
-   Verify that distribution approval signed minutes and resolutions are stored in the fundcraft platform, obtaining them from the Cosec team or AIFM if necessary.
-   Support the team in updating shareholder registers on the platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency under supervision.
-   Help collect and organise investor documents, including KYC information and subscription agreements, escalating discrepancies to senior team members.
-   Assist in recording investor transactions (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, switches) into the platform and ensure proper documentation for audit trails.
-   Work with senior colleagues to reconcile transaction data and identify any discrepancies, contributing to accurate reporting and fund operations.
-   Observe and support compliance-related tasks, such as checking for blocked investors or reviewing AML/KYC requirements, while gaining foundational knowledge of regulatory standards.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Experience: 

-   Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Economics, or a related field.
-   No prior work experience required, but any academic projects, part-time jobs, or internships related to finance, fund operations, or data processing are a plus.
-   Curiosity for digital platforms and process optimization.
-   Fluency in English is required; Spanish or Catalan are a plus.
