## Description

**About the role:**

As an Trainee in AML/KYC, you are an integral part of the AML/KYC team in our Product Delivery department. Working directly alongside our Associates and Senior Associates in AML/KYC, you will gain hands-on experience in financial crime prevention, regulatory compliance, and digital fund administration. The internship will focus primarily on conducting initial alert analysis for ongoing monitoring and assisting with FATCA/CRS tax data remediation across investor, asset, and transaction profiles.  
  
This position is based in Girona, Spain and reports directly to the Manager in AML/KYC.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Ongoing Alert Monitoring: Conduct initial investigations into ongoing screening hits and alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems or background screening databases under supervision.
-   FATCA/CRS Data Remediation: Assist in reviewing, inputting, and maintaining investor tax self-certifications and records to ensure FATCA/CRS eligibility, data accuracy, and audit readiness on the platform.
-   Document & Profile Management: Ensure that all investor, asset (KYA), and transaction (KYT) compliance documents are correctly named and stored under the appropriate profiles on the platform.
-   Operational & Team Support: Support Associates and Senior Associates in gathering investor documentation via shared mailboxes, the fundcraft LP portal, or Vestlane.
-   Adhere to the latest checklists and guidance provided by the compliance department for task execution.

## Requirements

**Qualifications & Experience:**

-   Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Economics, or a related field.
-   No prior full-time work experience required, but coursework or academic projects related to AML/CFT, compliance, FATCA/CRS, or data processing are a plus.
-   Digital-driven mindset with comfort in learning new software tools and digital platforms.
-   Fluency in English is required; Spanish or Catalan are a plus.
