In this role, you will lead information security initiatives related to NIST 800-171, CMMC, and government customer requirements while partnering with our Cyber team to maintain a strong security and compliance framework. You will also oversee our third-party IT service provider, helping shape the company's technology roadmap, improve employee IT support, and ensure our engineers have the tools, systems, and infrastructure needed to be successful. This is a highly collaborative role that combines cybersecurity leadership, IT strategy, and operational oversight in a fast-growing defense technology environment. **What You'll Do:** - Lead and manage the company's cybersecurity and information assurance program in support of Department of Defense and government customer requirements.  - Maintain compliance with NIST 800-171, CMMC, customer cybersecurity requirements, and applicable security policies and procedures.  - Develop, maintain, and oversee System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms), risk assessments, and other cybersecurity documentation.  - Serve as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity audits, assessments, and customer security reviews.  - Coordinate cybersecurity incident response activities, investigations, and reporting requirements.  - Act as the primary internal liaison between the company and its third-party Managed Service Provider (MSP), ensuring timely and effective IT support.  - Monitor IT service delivery, ticket response metrics, project execution, and overall MSP performance.  - Manage IT asset inventory, hardware lifecycle planning, software licensing, and technology records.  - Administer and coordinate Identrust/ECA certificate issuance, renewals, revocations, and employee support activities.  - Partner with leadership to develop and execute the company's IT roadmap, infrastructure strategy, cybersecurity initiatives, and technology plans to support future growth and expansion. ## Requirements **Required Skills & Experience:** - 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, information systems security, IT management, or related roles.  - Experience supporting Department of Defense, federal government, or defense contractor environments.  - Working knowledge of NIST 800-171, CMMC, cybersecurity compliance frameworks, and security best practices.  - Ability to manage external vendors, managed service providers, or technical service partners.  - Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.  - Experience managing IT assets, technology projects, and operational priorities across multiple stakeholders.  - Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.  - Must thrive in dynamic environments where multi-tasking is required for success    - Must be a nimble self-starter who is excited about technology and can think out of the box and suggest powerful new ideas  - U.S. citizen   **Preferred Qualifications:** - Active Secret Clearance.  - CISSP, Security+, CISM, CAP, or comparable cybersecurity certification.  - Experience serving as an ISSM, ISSO, Information Assurance Manager, or similar cybersecurity leadership role.  - Experience supporting DCSA, RMF, NIST 800-53, or classified information systems.  - Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, GCC High, endpoint management, and identity/access management solutions.  - Experience supporting multi-site organizations and infrastructure growth initiatives.  - Familiarity with Identrust, ECA certificates, PKI, and DoD authentication requirements.   **Requirements:**  - Must thrive in dynamic environments where multi-tasking is required for success    - U.S. citizen   - Must be a nimble self-starter who is excited about technology and can think out of the box and suggest powerful new ideas   **Salary Range:** $110,000 - $170,000   **More about Fuse:**  Founded in 2010, Fuse is a veteran-owned, rapidly growing small business.
