## Description

We're building out Futurae's AI function and looking for a Data Engineer Intern to own a high-impact project from day one: bridging the gap between our business data and actionable insights.

You will be the primary owner of our HubSpot data integration, ensuring that critical CRM data flows seamlessly into our analytics stack. Concretely, your mission is to automate the ingestion of HubSpot data into BigQuery and expose it via Metabase, giving our teams the reliable, structured data they need to drive company growth.

This is a 6-month internship (starting either July or September), suited for someone currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in a technical field.

## Requirements

**Tasks & Responsibilities**

-   Build a Python-based service to pull data from the HubSpot API
-   Develop and maintain ingestion pipelines to move data reliably into BigQuery
-   Transform raw API responses into clean, structured tables following our internal data layers
-   Connect your datasets to Metabase and build foundational dashboards for internal stakeholders
-   Write clear technical guides and data dictionaries for the new integrations

**Qualifications**

-   Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
-   Good communication skills in English
-   Solid SQL skills: You can write clean queries to join and aggregate data.
-   Good Python proficiency with an interest in working with REST APIs
-   Builder mindset: excited to take a project from zero to one and see it through to completion
-   Curious & Persistent: You enjoy digging into data to understand how it’s structured and why.

**Bonus Points**

-   Basic familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) or BI tools (Metabase, Tableau, Looker or similar)
-   Experience with data pipeline tooling (dbt, Airflow, or similar)
-   Interest in cybersecurity, fintech, or B2B SaaS
