Position Overview

Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation across multiple clinical locations. This role will oversee the transition from paper-based charting to an electronic system and manage the project through implementation, operational readiness, and transition to ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

\- Lead all phases of the EHR implementation, including planning, execution, testing, training, deployment, and transition to operations and maintenance.

\- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.

\- Coordinate cross-functional IT teams, clinical stakeholders, and vendors to meet business and technical requirements.

\- Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

\- Lead governance meetings and provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.

\- Support organizational change management, user adoption, and training activities.

\- Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards and receive stakeholder approval.

\- Maintain project documentation and facilitate effective communication across teams.

Required Qualifications

\- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI, held for a minimum of five years. A valid copy must be submitted with the résumé.

\- Seven to nine years of relevant project management experience, including at least seven years managing complex technical initiatives involving multiple IT teams and vendors.

\- Demonstrated experience implementing an EHR system for an organization transitioning from paper-based charting.

\- Experience with EHR/EMR systems, health informatics, and health IT.

\- Proven ability to lead large-scale projects from initiation through successful implementation.

\- Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

\- Must currently reside in Pennsylvania.

\- Ability to work onsite in Harrisburg two days per week and attend off-site meetings as requested.

Preferred Qualifications

\- Experience with public health programs and related operational needs.

\- Experience leading organizational change management with independent customers.

\- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and project portfolio management tools.
