## Description

As an Assistant Waiter/Waitress, you will assist a Waiter with the service for food and beverage of an assigned station/team in the restaurant, providing guests with courteous and professional service, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere, and enhancing the overall dining experience by anticipating guest needs.

**What you’ll do** 

-   General assistance to Waiters in the service of food and beverages to guests 

-   Clean, organize and maintain designated service station 

-   Remove dishes, glassware, and cutlery from guests' tables 

-   Fill salt, pepper, sugar, and condiment containers 

-   Prepare mise-en-place to ensure that the station is ready when required 

-   Provide attentive and personalized service to ensure that guest requests are fulfilled promptly 

-   Inform the Waiters about any event that may occur during the service time or request from the guests that need special attention 

-   General assistance in setting up tables, including linens,   silverware, and glassware 

-   Room service and table-side service 

-   Polish glassware, cutlery  and flatware 

-   Maintain clean and orderly tables and station

## Requirements

-   Previous relevant work experience, preferably in a 5\* hotel environment 

-   Excellent knowledge of the English language 

-   Attentiveness and patience for customers 

-   Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment 

-   Active listening and effective communication skills 

-   Team spirit
