## Description

G MASS are working with a leading provider of regulatory reporting technology and consulting services, supporting banks, brokers, hedge funds, asset managers, insurers and corporates in meeting their global transaction and trade reporting obligations.

The firm's consulting practice is growing, and this role will sit within a team of experts delivering strategic and operational solutions to leading financial institutions. The position blends BAU oversight, issue remediation and advisory work on regulatory change projects, covering regimes such as EMIR, MiFID, ASIC, CFTC, SEC and SFTR. This is a client facing role offering broad exposure across legal, compliance, technology and client facing functions, with the opportunity to shape engagement models and drive automation and data quality initiatives within a fast evolving regulatory environment.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Manage, review and enhance clients' transaction reporting processes, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements
-   Perform data analysis, reconciliation and exception management to resolve reporting breaks and improve data quality
-   Interpret new and evolving regulatory requirements, advising clients on the implications for their processes and systems
-   Support system enhancements, UAT and migration projects relating to regulatory reporting solutions
-   Partner with client stakeholders, trade repositories and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues
-   Contribute to the design and implementation of best practice control frameworks for reporting governance and oversight
-   Assist with regulatory readiness assessments, gap analyses and operational support
-   Act as a bridge between compliance, business and technology functions
-   Produce high quality documentation, process maps and client deliverables

## Requirements

-   Hands on experience in trade and transaction reporting within a financial institution, consultancy or vendor setting
-   Proven experience with reporting operations, reconciliations, exception management and root cause analysis
-   Understanding of financial products and asset classes including derivatives, fixed income, equities and securities financing transactions
-   Ability to interpret and apply regulatory technical standards and validation rules
-   Strong Excel skills, with SQL or Python experience an advantage
-   Excellent communication, client facing and stakeholder management skills
-   Experience with regulatory reporting platforms such as DTCC, UnaVista, Regis TR, ICE Trade Vault or MarketAxess useful
