### Custodian / Concierge

**The Gables of Fitchburg Assisted Living Community**  
**Schedule:** Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM  
**Position Type:** Part-Time

The Gables of Fitchburg is seeking a dependable, professional, and friendly **Custodian / Concierge** to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, staff, and visitors.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a community clean and organized while also enjoying friendly interaction with seniors and guests.

### Responsibilities

-   Perform general cleaning duties in common areas, hallways, bathrooms, and lobby areas
-   Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and visitors
-   Greet visitors in a courteous and professional manner
-   Assist with visitor sign-in procedures
-   Answer phones, take messages, and route calls as appropriate
-   Make regular rounds of the building as directed
-   Lock and unlock doors according to schedule
-   Respond professionally to resident, family, visitor, and staff needs
-   Report maintenance needs or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor
-   Follow emergency, safety, and infection control procedures
-   Perform other duties as assigned

### Qualifications

-   High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-   Prior cleaning, custodial, maintenance, concierge, hospitality, or senior living experience helpful
-   Friendly, dependable, and professional attitude
-   Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff
-   Ability to bend, stretch, walk, and perform routine cleaning tasks
-   Must be able to work the scheduled hours: **Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM**
-   Background check required
