Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI & Agentic AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade analytics and intelligent automation solutions. This role blends advanced data visualization expertise with emerging capabilities in agentic AI systems, enabling data-driven decision-making and autonomous workflows across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in Power BI, strong data engineering fundamentals, and hands-on expertise with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry. You will play a key role in shaping our AI readiness strategy while delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

-   Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
-   Lead the integration of agentic AI solutions into analytics workflows, enabling intelligent automation and decision support
-   Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, business analysts, and AI teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
-   Architect and implement scalable data models and semantic layers for enterprise reporting
-   Drive adoption of AI-powered tools (e.g., Copilot, autonomous agents) within BI and data workflows
-   Establish best practices for data visualization, performance optimization, and governance
-   Evaluate emerging technologies in AI and analytics, recommending strategic adoption where appropriate

Database & Power BI Oversight

-   Design and manage robust data pipelines and data models using SQL, Azure Synapse, Fabric, or equivalent platforms
-   Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple data sources and reporting layers
-   Optimize Power BI datasets, including dataflows, DAX calculations, and query performance
-   Implement row-level security (RLS), governance policies, and compliance standards
-   Oversee deployment pipelines, version control, and lifecycle management for BI assets
-   Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across databases and reporting environments
-   Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure efficient ETL/ELT processes
-   Maintain documentation for data models, dashboards, and architecture

AI Readiness & Agentic Systems

-   Design and deploy agentic AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry
-   Develop autonomous or semi-autonomous agents capable of performing business workflows, data analysis, and decision support
-   Integrate AI models with Power BI and enterprise data systems to enable intelligent insights
-   Assess organizational readiness for AI adoption, including data quality, governance, and infrastructure
-   Implement prompt engineering, orchestration, and evaluation frameworks for AI agents
-   Ensure responsible AI practices, including transparency, bias mitigation, and compliance
-   Partner with stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases for AI-driven automation
-   Stay current with advancements in LLMs, multi-agent systems, and enterprise AI platforms

Required Qualifications

-   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
-   7+ years of experience in Power BI development and data analytics
-   Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling
-   Experience with SQL and modern data platforms (Azure, Fabric, Synapse, etc.)
-   Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry
-   Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly LLMs and agent-based systems
-   Experience integrating AI capabilities into business intelligence or enterprise applications
-   Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex, data-rich environments

Preferred Qualifications

-   Experience with Azure AI services, OpenAI APIs, or similar platforms
-   Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data and AI workflows
-   Familiarity with DevOps practices for data and AI (CI/CD, versioning, testing)
-   Experience in building or deploying multi-agent systems or workflow automation tools
