General Laborer – Manufacturing Production

Location: Sterling Heights, MI  
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:  
We are currently hiring dependable and motivated General Laborers for a high-volume manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment and are looking for long-term manufacturing opportunities.

General Laborers will support daily production operations by assisting assembly teams, moving materials throughout the facility, packaging products, and helping maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-   Perform general production and manufacturing support duties throughout the facility
-   Assist machine operators, assemblers, and production personnel as needed
-   Move materials, containers, parts, and finished products throughout the plant
-   Load and unload production materials and components
-   Package and prepare finished products for shipment
-   Inspect products and materials for quality concerns or defects
-   Support assembly, sorting, labeling, stacking, and palletizing operations
-   Assist with material replenishment and production line support
-   Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety and 5S standards
-   Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and work instructions
-   Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals
-   Perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment
-   Support warehouse and manufacturing operations as needed

## Requirements

Qualifications:

-   Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or general labor experience preferred
-   Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
-   Strong attendance and reliable work history required
-   Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
-   Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing physical work throughout the shift
-   Team-oriented with a strong focus on workplace safety
-   Automotive manufacturing or Tier 1 supplier experience is a plus
-   Industrial or production environment experience preferred

Preferred Experience:

-   Manufacturing or production support
-   Assembly line work
-   Warehouse or shipping/receiving operations
-   Packaging and palletizing
-   Assisting machine operators
-   Automotive or industrial manufacturing environments

Available Shifts:

-   1st Shift
-   2nd Shift
-   3rd Shift

Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production schedules and customer demand.

Physical Requirements:

-   Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
-   Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
-   Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements
-   Ability to work in industrial manufacturing conditions and varying temperatures
