Assembly Associate – 1st Shift

**Location:** Sterling Heights, MI  
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM  
**Starting Pay:** $15.50/hour  
**Pay After 90 Days:** $17.00/hour  
**Overtime:** Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.

Position Overview

We are hiring **Assembly Associates** to work in an automotive manufacturing environment in Sterling Heights. This position involves assembling automotive components and parts while working as part of a fast-paced production team.

What You'll Do

-   Assemble automotive components and parts according to production requirements
-   Install, fit, fasten, or connect components during the assembly process
-   Inspect parts for visible defects or quality concerns
-   Follow standardized work instructions and production procedures
-   Use basic hand tools or production equipment as required
-   Maintain production pace while meeting quality expectations
-   Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
-   Follow all plant safety procedures and PPE requirements
-   Work cooperatively with team members, supervisors, and production leadership
-   Perform other production or assembly duties as assigned

Schedule

**1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday through Friday**

Overtime and weekend work may be scheduled depending on production needs. Candidates should be willing to work additional hours when required.

Pay

**Starting Rate: $15.50/hour**

After successfully completing **90 days, the pay rate increases to $17.00/hour.**

Qualifications

-   Previous automotive, manufacturing, production, or assembly experience is helpful but not required
-   Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
-   Ability to stand and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift
