**TERNA S.A.,** a **GEK TERNA Group** company, is looking for a:

**Procurement Civil Engineer**

**Responsibilities**

-   Selects and contracts suppliers for materials and subcontracted works related to Building and Infrastructure projects.
-   Conducts market research in Greece and abroad to identify and evaluate suitable suppliers for materials and subcontracting.
-   Prepares comparative assessment tables and evaluates technical and financial offers for procurement and subcontracting packages.
-   Participates in the preparation, negotiation, and review of technical and commercial terms in supply and subcontracting agreements.
-   Defines the required material specifications and prepares purchase orders and contractual documents.
-   Maintains organized records of all technical and financial offers, as well as a structured supplier evaluation register.
-   Monitors compliance with delivery schedules throughout the procurement cycle, from order placement to material receipt.
-   Ensures adequacy and timely availability of required material stock for ongoing and upcoming project needs
-   Conducts visits to suppliers domestically and internationally to assess materials and support selection decisions.
-   Collaborates with Technical Directors and Project Managers to determine the most suitable materials for each project.

**Requirements**

-   Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
-   Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a procurement department or in construction site/technical office roles within Building or Infrastructure projects
-   Very good command of English (oral and written)
-   Excellent command of MS Office suite
-   Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
