> GeoVisual Analytics · United States (Remote) · Contract · Posted 2026-09-29

**Salary:** USD 90,000–120,000

**Workplace:** remote

## Description

Senior Full Stack Engineer (Part-Time Contract, $85/hr)

_This is a 20–30 hour/week contract at $85/hour, fully remote._

GeoVisual Analytics builds custom software and analytics solutions for the fresh produce supply chain and the businesses around it. Our focus is AI implementation and modernization: helping an industry that still runs on spreadsheets and phone calls move to modern, data-driven tools. We're looking for a senior full stack engineer to join us on a contract basis, delivering client work and building out our platform.

The engagement

- 20–30 hours per week
- 3–6 month initial contract, with the intent to extend
- $85/hour
- Fully remote, with flexible hours and time zone

What you'll work on

- Designing, building, and maintaining the frontend and backend of new platforms, from feature development through production
- Leading projects end to end, including new features where the requirements aren't fully defined yet
- Building integrations between our platforms and our clients' cloud and AI infrastructure
- Working with business teams to turn real day-to-day workflows into working software
- Implementing secure authentication, access control, and data governance for sensitive business data
- Shipping with strong testing, CI/CD, deployment, and observability practices
- Iterating on features based on real usage and feedback, balancing speed with reliability

Our stack

- **Languages:** TypeScript, Node.js, Python
- **Frontend:** Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Radix UI
- **Backend:** NestJS, FastAPI
- **Data:** Supabase (Postgres), Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Functions), Drizzle ORM, Typesense, dbt
- **Maps, 3D, and ML:** Mapbox GL, Turf.js, Three.js, GeoPandas, Rasterio, Shapely, PyTorch, Sentinel Hub
- **Monorepo:** Turborepo, pnpm/Yarn workspaces
- **Hosting and infrastructure:** Vercel, Fly.io, Render, Modal, Cloudflare Workers, Docker, GitHub Actions
- **Operations:** Sentry, LaunchDarkly, Resend
- **Testing and quality:** Vitest, Jest, pytest, ESLint, Prettier, ruff/mypy
- **How we work:** Linear, Slack, GitHub

You don't need experience with all of these. Equivalent tools count, and the smaller pieces are quick to learn.

To apply

Send your resume and a few sentences about a project you shipped end to end, including what you built and what you'd do differently. Links to GitHub or a portfolio are welcome.
