A welcoming family based in **Mont-sur-Rolle, Vaud**, is looking for an experienced and **independent Live-in Housekeeper** to take care of the household and ensure the home is kept clean, organised and well maintained.

The family has two young children and a dog. **Childcare is not the main responsibility of the position**; occasional assistance with the children may be requested when needed.

The successful candidate should be autonomous, organised and comfortable managing a household independently. The family is looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail and can anticipate the household's needs.

### Main responsibilities

**Housekeeping**

-   General cleaning and maintenance of the family home
-   Dusting, vacuuming and mopping
-   Cleaning bathrooms and bedrooms
-   Keeping living areas neat, clean and organised
-   Changing and making beds
-   Laundry, ironing and folding clothes and household linen
-   Organising wardrobes and household items when needed
-   Ensuring the home is maintained to a high standard on a daily basis

**Cooking & household support**

-   Preparing fresh, home-cooked family meals
-   Planning and organising meals according to the family's preferences
-   Preparing simple lunches and dinners
-   Keeping the kitchen clean and organised after cooking
-   Managing groceries and putting away food deliveries
-   Knowing how to properly **set the table and prepare the dining area** for family meals
-   Ensuring household supplies are well stocked and informing the family when something needs to be purchased

**Occasional support**

-   Occasional assistance with the children when required, although childcare is **not a core responsibility**
-   Helping with the family dog when needed
-   Running occasional household errands
