### About the Family

A warm and welcoming family is looking for an experienced and dedicated **Nanny** to care for their baby, who will be **6 months old when the position starts in January 2027**.

The family is looking for someone who will take an active role in the baby's **development, learning and education**, creating a stimulating and nurturing environment through age-appropriate activities, games and daily routines.

### Responsibilities

-   Providing attentive and nurturing care for the baby
-   Supporting the baby's physical, emotional and cognitive development
-   Planning and organising **age-appropriate activities and early-learning games**
-   Encouraging the baby's curiosity, independence and development through play
-   Establishing and maintaining a consistent daily routine
-   Preparing and giving bottles and meals as appropriate for the baby's age
-   Managing the baby's laundry and keeping their belongings organised
-   Maintaining a clean, safe and stimulating environment for the baby
-   Taking the baby outdoors for walks and age-appropriate activities
-   Accompanying the baby to appointments and activities when required
-   Communicating regularly with the parents regarding the baby's routine, development and progress
-   Supporting the family with other childcare-related tasks as needed

## Requirements

### Requirements

-   **Previous professional experience as a Nanny**, ideally with babies and young children
-   Fluent **English**
-   Portuguese-speaking is a **strong advantage**
-   A genuine interest in early childhood development and education
-   **Driving licence required**
-   Comfortable around dogs, the family has **two small dogs**
-   Reliable, responsible, warm and proactive personality
-   **EU passport or valid Swiss work permit required**
-   **Checkable professional references**
-   Ability to commit to a long-term position
