## Description

A warm and welcoming family based in **Champel, Geneva**, is seeking an experienced and caring **Night Maternity Nurse** to provide professional overnight care for their newborn, who is due in **December 2026**.

The position will commence **from the baby's birth** and is ideal for a candidate with extensive newborn experience who can offer reassurance, guidance, and high-quality care during the first months.

### Schedule

-   **6 nights per week**
-   **December 2026 (at the birth of the baby) to March 2027**
-   Exact working hours to be discussed with the successful candidate.

### Responsibilities

-   Providing attentive overnight care for the newborn.
-   Feeding the baby (breastfeeding support where appropriate, or bottle feeding).
-   Changing nappies and settling the baby back to sleep.
-   Monitoring the baby's wellbeing throughout the night.
-   Sterilising bottles and maintaining the nursery and baby equipment used overnight.
-   Supporting healthy sleep routines.
-   Offering guidance and reassurance to first-time or experienced parents as needed.
-   Keeping a clear handover for the parents each morning.

## Requirements

-   Proven experience as a Maternity Nurse with newborns.
-   Strong references from previous families. and checkbale references.
-   Excellent knowledge of infant care and newborn development.
-   Calm, discreet, nurturing, and highly organised.
-   Infant First Aid certification.
-   Fluent in **English or French or** **Spanish**.
-   Eligible to work in Switzerland.
