# Head of Product

**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** Product & Engineering

## Description

**What we do**

Revenue leaders have more execution tools than ever, but pipeline feels harder. Channels cost more and return less. Time and budget go into processes that stay broken.

That's because GTM is won or lost before execution begins. Teams build world-class execution firepower, then aim it in the wrong direction, off data that's generic, surface-level, and shared by every competitor. The answer was never more data. It was the right intelligence.

So we built it. Goodfit defines, sources, and grades every account in your market. Revenue teams know exactly who to target, and why, and can commit resources with conviction.

The real question is bigger than a target list: who do we go after, why them, and what's the right way in? That takes third-party intelligence across a whole market plus a company's own performance, the deals won and lost and the accounts that engaged. One shows what's out there, the other what works. Put them in a loop, and you can tell a revenue team where to aim and why, with the evidence attached.

We have a great market opportunity and we are working with many of the highest growth B2B companies out there. As we move through this next stage of growth, we're hiring our first Head of Product to build the product function GoodFit needs to get there.

**About the role**

As Head of Product, you'll work closely with our founders to turn GoodFit's product vision into a clear strategy, portfolio and roadmap, and lead the product function to deliver it.

You'll build our product practice, lead and develop a team of Product Managers, and make the trade-offs that determine where we invest - while staying close enough to customers and delivery to remain hands-on.

A significant part of the job is deciding how far our vision can go, with AI redefining the frontier every few months.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys building from scratch especially in the AI native world, creates clarity from ambiguity and takes ownership of outcomes.

**What you will do**

- Own product strategy: Turn our product vision and company objectives into a clear strategy, portfolio and roadmap.
- Build an AI-native product: Work with the engineering team to redefine the AI frontier in GTM, and turn it into a product revenue teams rely on day to day.
- Determine the bets: Identify and prioritise the biggest product opportunities, making clear trade-offs about where we invest.
- Build the team: Hire, manage and coach Product Managers and shape the product organisation as we grow.
- Raise the product bar: Establish lightweight, high-quality approaches to discovery, prioritisation, planning and measurement.
- Stay close to customers: Use customer research, data and market insight to understand problems and identify opportunities.
- Drive outcomes: Ensure teams solve well-defined problems, set measurable goals and learn from what they ship.
- Own pricing & packaging: Work with Commercial to connect product value to how we package, price and sell it.
- Partner with Engineering: Work closely with engineering leadership on sequencing, platform investment and technical trade-offs.
- Connect Product to the business: Build strong relationships with Commercial, Solutions and Marketing and communicate product direction clearly across the company.
- Stay hands-on: Step directly into product work where needed, particularly as we build the team.

**We'd love to hear from you if you**

- Have significant product experience, including as a senior product leader or senior-most PM in an early-stage company.
- Have worked in B2B SaaS and understand the transition from founder-led product to a structured product function.
- Want to build a product function rather than inherit one.
- Have a bias for action and are comfortable moving between strategy and hands-on product work.
- Are strong at discovery, using customer research and data to make clear product decisions.
- Have hired, managed or coached Product Managers.
- Can make difficult prioritisation decisions and explain the reasoning behind them.
- Are comfortable with product analytics, metrics and measurable outcomes.
- Are passionate about how AI is reshaping customer needs, markets and how product teams work, and can translate that into product strategy.
- Communicate clearly and build trust across Product, Engineering, Commercial and leadership.
- Have experience in GTM tech, sales intelligence or data products - a strong plus, but not required.

**Why you'll love working at GoodFit**

- Immediate impact: Your decisions will directly shape our product and the next stage of the company.
- Real ownership: You'll own product strategy and have genuine autonomy to shape the function.
- Build from scratch: You'll define how Product works as GoodFit scales.
- Stay hands-on: You'll remain close to customers, data and the product itself.
- Direct access to leadership: You'll work closely with our founders and executive team.
- Interesting problems: You'll work across data, AI, workflows and integrations in a complex B2B product.
