# Risk & Compliance Officer

> GoodHabitz · Eindhoven, Netherlands (Hybrid) · Full-time · Posted 2026-07-07

**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** Legal, Risk & Compliance

## Description

Make an impact on how GoodHabitz grows — responsibly.

At GoodHabitz, we believe growth should never stand still. We help millions of people build new skills every day — and to keep doing that at scale, we need someone who makes sure we do it right. That's where you come in.

We're looking for a Risk & Compliance Officer who combines sharp analytical thinking with a genuine passion for doing business the right way. Someone who doesn't just spot risks but turns them into opportunities to build a more resilient, trustworthy organisation. If you're the kind of person who reads a regulation and thinks "I can make this work for us" — we'd love to hear from you. You will be part of the Legal, Risk and Compliance team.

**What you'll be doing**

You'll be the go-to person for everything risk and compliance at GoodHabitz. That means working closely with teams across Legal, Finance, Product, IT and Leadership to make sure we operate confidently — in every market we are in.

- Own the risk framework. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve our enterprise risk management framework. You'll identify risks before they become problems and keep our risk register up to date and actionable

- Keep us compliant. Monitor regulatory developments across our key markets (think GDPR, NIS2, ISO standards, and local legislation where relevant) and translate them into clear, practical guidance for our teams.

- Be a trusted advisor. Partner with stakeholders across the business to embed a culture of risk awareness — not through fear, but through education and clarity. You make compliance feel like a superpower, not a speed bump.

- Lead internal audits and assessments. Plan and execute compliance reviews, report findings, and follow up on actions — making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

- Support data privacy. Work hand in hand with our Privacy Officer and Product teams on data protection topics, including DPIAs, data breaches, and vendor due diligence.

- Build policies that people actually read. Write and maintain policies, procedures, and training content that are clear, concise, and — yes — engaging. (This is GoodHabitz, after all.)

- Report to leadership. Prepare risk and compliance reports for senior leadership.

- Training Provide in-house compliance trainings for the business.

## Requirements

- University or applied sciences diploma

- 6+ years of experience in a risk, compliance, or internal audit role — ideally in a fast-growing international tech or SaaS environment.

- Solid working knowledge of GDPR, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and relevant EU regulatory frameworks. Experience with NIS2 is a plus.

- Experience with internal and external audits.

- You're structured and detail-oriented, but you don't lose sight of the bigger picture.

- Strong communicator — you know how to clearly explain complex topics to non-experts verbally and in writing without being overly technical.

- A proactive, ownership mindset. You don't wait to be asked; you spot what needs to happen and make it happen.

- Fluent in Dutch and English, verbal and in writing.

- A genuine belief that compliance and growth are not opposites — they're partners.
