## Description

**Head of Regulatory Compliance – Muscat, Oman**

We are recruiting a Head of Regulatory Compliance for a bank based in Muscat, Oman. This is a senior leadership opportunity to take full ownership of the bank’s Regulatory Compliance function, ensuring robust governance, regulatory adherence and effective risk management.

The successful candidate will lead the regulatory compliance framework, oversee regulatory reporting, compliance testing and quality assurance, provide authoritative advice to the business, and manage engagement with regulators and senior stakeholders. They will also lead and develop the compliance team, ensuring regulatory requirements are implemented effectively and matters are driven through to completion.

## Requirements

-   10–15 years’ experience in compliance, including senior regulatory compliance leadership within banking or financial services.

-   Proven experience managing a regulatory compliance function end to end, including regulatory returns, attestations, compliance testing and regulator engagement.
-   Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, with experience of Oman’s Central Bank (CBO) and Financial Services Authority (FSA) requirements highly advantageous.
-   Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills.
-   A degree in Business, Law, Finance or a related discipline. A recognised compliance qualification is preferred.
