**Position Introduction**

A full-time Physical Therapist position is open in Lee’s Summit, MO for a clinician who enjoys outpatient orthopedic care and working with patients through measurable stages of recovery.

This role involves treating orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions in patients ranging from 11 to 90 years old. Daily responsibilities include patient evaluations, treatment planning, hands-on care, therapeutic exercise, education, documentation, and collaboration with PTAs and other clinical team members.

**Location and Setting**

**Location:** Grain Valley, Missouri  
**Position:** Full-Time  
**Clinic Setting:** Modern Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic  
**EMR System:** WebPT  
**Clinical Team:** 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants

**Compensation Details**

-   **$65,000–$70,000 per year** for new graduate Physical Therapists
-   **$80,000–$90,000 per year** for experienced Physical Therapists, based on years of experience

**Schedule Preferences**

The clinic would strongly prefer one of these schedules:

**Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days**

-   Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
-   Tuesday off each week

**Option 2: Monday–Friday**

-   Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
-   Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

**Clinic Details**

-   Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
-   Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
-   Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
-   Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
-   Insurance Plans Accepted: Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, TRICARE, Humana, and Aetna

**Responsibilities**

-   Evaluate patients and assess strength, mobility, pain, balance, range of motion, and functional limitations
-   Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
-   Provide physical therapy treatment for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
-   Use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility training, balance activities, and functional movement programs
-   Educate patients on home exercise programs and safe activity progression
-   Track patient outcomes and update treatment plans as needed
-   Complete documentation accurately in WebPT
-   Collaborate with PTAs and clinical staff to maintain continuity of care

## Requirements

-   Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
-   Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Missouri licensure
-   New graduates are welcome to apply
-   Outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, but not required
-   Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
-   Ability to work with patients across a wide age range and varied orthopedic needs
