**Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)**

**Job Summary**

We are hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a remote telehealth position. This role focuses on direct therapy, client assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical care. You will help clients work through mental health concerns in a professional virtual setting. Sessions may include support around stress, mood concerns, emotional regulation, personal relationships, self-esteem, grief, trauma-related symptoms, or major transitions. **Responsibilities**

-   Meet with clients through a secure video platform
-   Provide individual counseling and mental health support
-   Conduct intake sessions and ongoing clinical assessments
-   Create practical treatment goals with each client
-   Maintain up-to-date notes and clinical records
-   Support clients in building coping strategies and emotional awareness
-   Assess risk and respond appropriately when safety concerns arise
-   Follow Florida licensing standards and telehealth requirements
-   Maintain professional communication with clients and support staff

## Requirements

-   Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field
-   Active Florida LMHC license in good standing
-   Previous experience providing individual counseling or psychotherapy
-   Comfortable providing therapy through telehealth
-   Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
-   Ability to manage a full-time remote caseload responsibly
-   Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for client sessions
