## Description

**Physical Therapist – Fort Lauderdale Outpatient Orthopedic Care**

**Location:** Fort Lauderdale, FL  
**Position:** Physical Therapist  
**Work Setting:** Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office  
**Office Assignment:** One office location only  
**Pay:** $50–$55 per hour

We are seeking a **Physical Therapist in Fort Lauderdale, FL** for an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy office. This role is designed for a PT who enjoys helping patients recover through structured treatment, guided exercise, hands-on care, and functional movement training.

You will work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgery, pain-related limitations, weakness, and mobility restrictions. The goal is to help patients improve function and return to daily activities with better movement and control.

**Schedule Options:**

-   4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts
-   Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
-   Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

**Responsibilities:**

-   Evaluate patients and determine physical therapy needs
-   Create care plans for orthopedic and post-surgical conditions
-   Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, and functional rehab
-   Review patient progress and update treatment plans
-   Educate patients on home exercises and recovery strategies
-   Complete evaluations, progress notes, and discharge documentation
-   Coordinate with clinic staff to maintain efficient patient care

## Requirements

-   Active Florida Physical Therapist License
-   DPT Degree or MSPT Degree
-   Outpatient experience required, including clinical outpatient experience for new graduates
