## Description

**Physical Therapist Assistant – Orthopedic Outpatient Care in Boca Raton**

**For the PTA Who Likes Practical Rehab Work**

This role is hands-on, active, and patient-facing. As a **Physical Therapist Assistant**, you’ll help patients complete the treatment plan created by the Physical Therapist and support progress through movement, exercise, and education.

The clinic is **PT-owned**, outpatient orthopedic, and located in **Fort Lauderdale, FL**.

**Patient Volume**

You’ll typically work with **2 patients per hour**, allowing for focused instruction and better patient interaction.

**Responsibilities**

-   Assist with treatment under the supervision of a licensed PT
-   Guide patients through strengthening, stretching, balance, and mobility exercises
-   Support gait training and functional movement activities
-   Watch patient performance, comfort, and safety
-   Communicate patient updates to the supervising PT
-   Reinforce home exercise programs
-   Complete accurate daily notes
-   Keep treatment areas clean, prepared, and organized

## Requirements

-   Active Florida PTA License
-   PTA Degree required
-   Outpatient experience required, including clinical rotation experience for new graduates
-   New graduates are welcome to apply
