**Remote LPC Therapist | Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor Opportunity**

**Job Summary**

This **Remote Licensed Professional Counselor** role is designed for a clinician who wants to provide reliable therapy support in a telehealth setting. Clients may come to therapy for help with anxiety, depression, emotional stress, work-life strain, grief, relationship concerns, or major life changes. Your role is to provide a safe clinical space, assess needs, guide treatment, and help clients make realistic progress over time.

You will work remotely while managing scheduled sessions, treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical follow-up. The position offers a professional structure for LPCs who want full-time work without an in-office setting.

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

**Responsibilities**

-   Provide virtual therapy sessions for clients using approved telehealth technology
-   Review each client’s presenting concerns, background, and therapy goals
-   Prepare individualized treatment plans and update them as care progresses
-   Use clinically appropriate counseling approaches to support emotional and behavioral health
-   Document therapy sessions, assessments, progress updates, and care recommendations
-   Recognize when clients need crisis support, referrals, or a higher level of care
-   Maintain professional communication with clients and internal clinical contacts
-   Protect client privacy and follow HIPAA and Connecticut licensing standards
-   Stay current with professional practice expectations and required continuing education

## Requirements

-   Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
-   Active Connecticut **Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)** license in good standing
-   Experience providing therapy to adults, couples, families, or diverse client populations preferred
-   Strong understanding of clinical assessment, treatment planning, and progress notes
-   Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems
-   Able to work independently while maintaining strong clinical judgment
-   Telehealth experience or additional training in CBT, trauma-informed care, DBT, or related areas is a plus
