## Description

**Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient | Kansas City, MO**

**Full-Time | $80,000–$90,000/year DOE**

We are seeking a **Physical Therapist (PT)** for an orthopedic outpatient practice in Kansas City, Missouri.

This position is focused on direct patient care. You’ll evaluate orthopedic conditions, determine appropriate treatment, and work with patients throughout their rehabilitation. The caseload includes people recovering from surgery, injuries, mobility restrictions, and other musculoskeletal concerns.

The schedule is **Monday to friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM**, with approximately **1–2 patients per hour**.

**Responsibilities**

-   Perform initial and follow-up physical therapy evaluations
-   Treat orthopedic injuries and post-surgical conditions
-   Develop plans of care based on patient presentation and goals
-   Provide therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and functional activities
-   Perform manual therapy when appropriate
-   Measure changes in strength, range of motion, and physical function
-   Update treatment based on patient response
-   Provide home exercise instruction
-   Complete clinical notes and required progress reports

## Requirements

-   Current Physical Therapist License
-   DPT or MSPT Degree
-   Previous outpatient physical therapy experience
-   Experience with orthopedic and musculoskeletal cases
-   Strong clinical documentation skills
