**About the Role**

Our client is a global industrial leader operating in over 100 countries, known for its advanced manufacturing footprint and commitment to driving digital innovation across its factories and supply chain. They are currently undergoing one of the most significant ERP and operational technology transformations in their industry to modernize systems, improve efficiency, and enable next-generation operations.

We are looking for an experienced **Business Process Owner with strong Finance / SAP FI-CO expertise** to act as the bridge between Finance teams and SAP / Digital delivery teams. The role focuses on **process readiness, Fit-to-Template workshops, gap analysis, requirements clarification, UAT, cutover, Go-Live, and post-Go-Live support** across core finance processes.

**CONTRACT:** Freelance / contractor assignment, 3 months rolling contract

**LOCATIONS:** Budapest or Warsaw

**Responsibilities**

-   Lead business readiness for **SAP S/4HANA Finance** deployment.
-   Align local Finance teams with the program’s **Core Model / Global Template**.
-   Prepare and facilitate **Fit-to-Template / Fit-to-Standard workshops**.
-   Perform process analysis, process mapping, and gap analysis across finance workflows.
-   Gather and clarify business requirements and translate them into actionable inputs for SAP / Digital teams.
-   Coordinate closely with Finance stakeholders, site management, and SAP delivery teams.
-   Support **testing, UAT, cutover, Go-Live, and hypercare** activities.
-   Contribute to change management, user adoption, and training.
-   Identify business-readiness risks and process gaps before deployment.
-   Capture and share best practices across rollout locations.

## Requirements

-   Strong functional expertise in **Finance processes and SAP FI/CO**.
-   Solid hands-on experience with **SAP S/4HANA**.
-   Experience working on **international SAP transformation or rollout programs**.
-   Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, controlling, closing, and financial reporting.
-   Experience with **Core Model / Global Template** deployments.
-   Hands-on experience with **Fit-to-Template, gap analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering**.
-   Experience supporting **UAT, deployment, cutover, Go-Live, and hypercare**.
-   Fluent English and strong ability to work between Finance and IT / Digital teams.
