**About the Role**

Our client is a big manufacturing company running a large-scale **SAP S/4HANA transformation and deployment program** across several industrial sites in Germany.

We are looking for an experienced **SAP / ERP Deployment Project Manager** with a strong business-oriented approach to lead deployment activities across multiple locations. The role sits between Business, IT, and technical delivery teams and focuses on **project governance, Core Model alignment, gap analysis, business process harmonization, change management, and deployment readiness**.

**CONTRACT:** Long-term project engagement, approximately 1–2 years

**COMMITMENT:** Potentially part-time during scoping, moving to full-time during deployment

**LOCATIONS:** Hybrid – 3 days/week on-site in Erlangen, Germany, with occasional travel to other German sites

**START:** December 2026 / January 2027

**PROCESS:** Initial qualification followed by client interviews

**NOTES:** Fluent English required. German is a strong advantage.

**Responsibilities**

-   Manage **SAP S/4HANA deployment** across several industrial sites in Germany.
-   Lead project planning, governance, budget, risks, milestones, and delivery coordination.
-   Ensure alignment between local business requirements and the existing **Core Model / Global Template**.
-   Coordinate and manage **Gap Analysis** activities.
-   Support business-process definition, alignment, and harmonization.
-   Identify and coordinate key Business, IT, and technical stakeholders.
-   Work closely with the Technical Lead and SAP delivery teams.
-   Prepare and secure the different phases of the deployment.
-   Drive **change management, business readiness, and local adoption**.
-   Manage cross-site communication, dependencies, and deployment risks.

## Requirements

-   Significant experience as an **SAP Project Manager, ERP Deployment Manager, or SAP Transformation Project Manager**.
-   Strong experience with **SAP / ERP rollouts, deployments, or transformation programs**.
-   Solid knowledge of **SAP S/4HANA**.
-   Experience within **industrial or manufacturing environments**.
-   Experience managing **multi-site and international deployments**.
-   Strong project-management experience covering planning, budget, governance, risks, and stakeholder management.
-   Experience with **Core Model / Global Template, Gap Analysis, business-process alignment, and deployment readiness**.
-   Strong experience with **change management** and supporting business teams through transformation.
-   Ability to coordinate effectively across Business, IT, and technical teams.
-   Fluent English and strong understanding of German working culture.
