**About the Role**

We are looking for a senior **SAP FI/CO Consultant** to support the preparation of an SAP finance rollout in Germany. The role will focus on **scoping, Fit/Gap analysis, business workshops, Core Model adaptation, SAP FI/CO customizing, testing support, and rollout planning**.

This position is suited for an experienced SAP finance consultant with strong knowledge of **SAP ECC6**, international template rollouts, FI/CO configuration, intercompany processes, financial reporting, and German accounting requirements.

**CONTRACT:** Freelance / contractor assignment

**LOCATIONS:** Hybrid, Düsseldorf region, Germany

**NOTES:** German accounting knowledge is important. English is mandatory; German is a strong advantage.

**Responsibilities**

-   Analyze financial processes at the German manufacturing site
-   Identify gaps between local requirements and the existing **SAP ECC6 Core Model**
-   Prepare and facilitate **SAP FI/CO business workshops**
-   Define required adaptations for the Core Model rollout
-   Perform SAP FI/CO customizing across relevant finance areas
-   Support testing, validation, and rollout preparation activities
-   Participate in scoping, estimation, and deployment planning
-   Contribute to the commercial proposal and rollout strategy
-   Ensure German accounting, statutory, localization, and reporting requirements are addressed

## Requirements

-   8+ years of experience as an **SAP FI/CO Consultant**
-   Strong expertise in SAP FI/CO, including **FI-GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO**
-   Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO customizing and functional analysis
-   Proven experience with **SAP ECC6**
-   Experience with international rollouts, Core Model, or template deployments
-   Experience with Fit/Gap analysis and business workshop facilitation
-   Good understanding of German accounting, statutory reporting, or localization requirements
