**Role Overview**

We are looking for experienced **QA Engineers, SDETs, and Test Engineers** to review technical outputs, design and execute test scenarios, identify defects, and provide structured quality feedback. The role combines traditional **manual and automated testing** with evaluation of technical work against defined rubrics and quality criteria.

**CONTRACT:** Part-time/hourly contractor assignment

**LOCATIONS:** Remote, GLOBAL

**HOURLY RATE:** $60-$110/h

**Responsibilities**

-   Design test cases covering **functional, regression, and edge-case scenarios**.
-   Execute manual and automated tests and document reproducible results.
-   Identify, log, classify, and track software defects.
-   Evaluate technical outputs against defined **quality criteria and rubrics**.
-   Provide detailed written feedback and annotations on identified issues.
-   Validate fixes and confirm expected system behavior.
-   Document testing steps, findings, and evidence clearly.
-   Collaborate with project teams to improve testing and evaluation guidelines.
-   Maintain consistent quality standards across high-volume review tasks.

## Requirements

-   Professional experience as a **QA Engineer, SDET, Test Engineer**, or comparable software-testing role.
-   Strong knowledge of test case design, functional testing, and regression testing.
-   Hands-on experience with both **manual and automated testing**.
-   Experience using bug-tracking and test-management systems.
-   Ability to produce clear, reproducible bug reports and testing documentation.
-   Experience evaluating technical outputs against defined requirements or acceptance criteria.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
-   Strong written and spoken **English**.
