**Role Overview**

We’re looking for a **Backend Developer** to join the growing engineering team. You’ll help design, develop, and optimize the **server-side logic and APIs** powering next-generation inspection software that integrates 3D modeling, video processing, and AI-based defect detection.

You’ll collaborate closely with frontend, data, and robotics engineers to ensure smooth system integration, scalability, and reliability.

**Locations: The role is 100% remote, but the candidate location that is preferred is Egypt or Morocco.**

**Responsibilities**

-   Develop and maintain backend logic and databases for web applications
-   Design and integrate scalable APIs for data ingestion and processing
-   Contribute to CI/CD automation and deployment pipelines (AWS ECS, Lambda, S3)
-   Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
-   Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and product decisions
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, cloud, robotics, AI)

**Interview process:**

The interview process includes three stages: an HR interview, a technical interview, and a final meeting with the Head of Practice.

## Requirements

-   Strong knowledge of **ASP.NET Core**, **Entity Framework Core**, and **C#/.NET** (7+ years of experience)
-   Experience with **Python** for backend or data-oriented tasks
-   Hands-on experience with **AWS** (ECS, Lambda, S3)
-   Solid understanding of **CI/CD pipelines**, Docker, GitHub, and automation workflows
-   Familiarity with development tools such as **Visual Studio Code** and **Docker**
-   Strong problem-solving mindset and collaborative attitude
-   Fluent in English

**Nice to Have:**

-   Experience in **video processing, 3D modeling, geospatial data, or photogrammetry**
-   Experience with **ABP** or microservices templates
-   Exposure to **machine learning** libraries or data pipelines
