**Position Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to lead automation projects for a dynamic industrial automation firm. This role requires expertise in **PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS/DeltaV systems,** along with project management capabilities. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and commission control systems while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring project profitability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Design and implement control system architectures (PLC, DCS, HMI/SCADA).
-   Develop schematics, panels, and network designs (under 480VAC).
-   Lead project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and profitability.
-   Commission systems on-site and troubleshoot technical issues.
-   Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
-   Manage client relationships and identify new business opportunities.

## Requirements

-   **Education:** Bachelor’s in Electrical/Control, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field)
-   **Licensure:** PMP certification a plus
-   **Experience:**

-   8+ years in **industrial automation** (PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS/DeltaV).
-   2-3 years minimum with **Emerson DeltaV platform.**
-   Experience in **PLC-5 to ControlLogix conversions.**
-   Project management for **systems up to $10M.**

-   **Technical Skills:**

-   **PLC platforms:** Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Modicon
-   **HMI/SCADA:** Ignition, FactoryTalk, Aveva, GE iFIX
-   **Programming:** Ladder Logic, Structured Text, VBA, SQL, Python
-   **Industrial networking:** Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus
