**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients.
-   Monitor and interpret complex patient data and vital signs.
-   Operate and manage specialized critical care equipment.
-   Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
-   Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team.
-   Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in EPIC.
-   Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies.
-   Educate patients and families.

## Requirements

**Qualifications**:

-   **Education:** Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN).
-   **Licensure:** Active New York State RN License; Current BLS & PALS certifications (ACLS preferred).
-   **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of recent Critical Care experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center.
-   **Technical Skills:** Strong EMR experience (EPIC proficiency essential).
-   **Soft Skills:** Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
