**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Provide specialized nursing care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions.
-   Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other oncology treatments safely.
-   Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to treatments and interventions.
-   Manage central lines, ports, and other vascular access devices.
-   Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, side effect management, and supportive care resources.

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

-   **Education:** Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
-   **Licensure:** Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (Required).
-   **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Hematology/Oncology setting as a Registered Nurse.
-   **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in chemotherapy administration, central line care, port access, management of oncology-related symptoms, and patient assessment. Knowledge of oncology protocols and safety standards.
-   **Soft Skills:** Compassionate bedside manner, excellent communication with patients and families, strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
