### What You’ll Be Doing

As a Data Cleanser, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our business data remains accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose.

Your responsibilities will include:

### Data Cleansing & Quality Assurance

-   Reviewing and cleansing large datasets to identify and correct:

-   Duplicate records
-   Missing or incomplete information
-   Inconsistent formats and values
-   Data entry errors

-   Identifying and updating key decision-makers across core business technology stacks
-   Validating data accuracy across multiple systems and sources
-   Standardising data in line with agreed business rules and data standards
-   Performing regular data quality checks and audits

### Collaboration & Problem Solving

-   Working closely with data, operational, and business teams to resolve data-related issues
-   Supporting data migration, reconciliation, and system change activities where required
-   Documenting data issues, cleansing rules, and corrective actions taken
-   Proactively identifying opportunities to improve data quality and processes

### Compliance & Governance

-   Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly
-   Ensuring compliance with data protection and information security requirements, including GDPR

## Requirements

### What We’re Looking For

### Essential Skills & Experience

-   Previous experience in a data cleansing, data quality, or data administration role
-   Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
-   Experience using Excel or similar data handling tools, including:

-   Filtering
-   Validation
-   Pivot tables

-   Ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency and precision
-   Strong organisational and time management skills
-   Clear written and verbal communication skills

### Desirable Experience

-   Experience working with databases, CRM, ERP, or data management systems
-   Basic SQL or data querying knowledge
-   Familiarity with data governance or data quality frameworks
-   Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments
-   Previous experience working within a target-driven environment
