## Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive **Product Engineer (Finacle & Cards)** to join our Core Banking technology team in Chennai.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical execution and domain expertise - combining hands-on proficiency in **Finacle Scripting** and **REST APIs** with a solid structural understanding of the **Cards Domain** (Credit/Debit/Prepaid management). This is a highly visible position requiring strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to seamlessly support distributed cross-border business units.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

### 1\. Technical Engineering & API Integration

-   Design, develop, and customize solutions within the core banking ecosystem using advanced **Finacle Scripting**.
-   Develop, implement, and maintain secure **REST APIs** to facilitate seamless integrations between Finacle, card management systems, and external payment processors.
-   Own and manage the **end-to-end technical delivery lifecycle** of platform enhancements, from initial gathering through to deployment and production support.

### 2\. Cards Domain & Cross-Border Support

-   Apply deep functional knowledge of the **Cards Domain** to optimize credit/debit processing, merchant parameters, and transaction switches.
-   Provide high-touch technical and functional support to diverse business units operating across different global locations.
-   Isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve high-priority ecosystem incidents impacting card services and core platform stability.

### 3\. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

-   Act as the primary technical point of contact, managing relationships and expectations across a diverse group of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-   Collaborate with the broader Software Engineering Chapter to ensure all platform deliveries align with strict organizational security, architecture, and compliance guidelines.

### Technical Specifications & Skills

### Core Technical Stack (Essential)

-   **Finacle Development:** Strong hands-on engineering experience within the **Finacle** core banking environment, with specialized expertise in **Finacle Scripting** and customization.
-   **API Management:** Practical experience developing, validating, and supporting **REST APIs**.
-   **Domain Expertise:** Solid functional and technical understanding of the **Cards Domain** (e.g., card issuing, acquiring, processing, or clearing systems).

### Cross-Functional Skills

-   **Global Support:** Proven ability to manage, coordinate, and support business units located in multiple global regions.
-   **Delivery Ownership:** Demonstrated capability to drive **end-to-end technology deliveries** independently.

### Qualifications & Experience

-   **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
-   **Experience:** Relevant technical experience as a software/product engineer specializing in Finacle development and card integration systems.
-   **Soft Skills:** Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and **stakeholder management** capabilities. Must be highly adaptable to working across varying time zones and fast-paced deployment cycles.
