## Description

We are looking for a skilled **Product Engineer with strong Calypso expertise** to join a leading banking client in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Calypso development, scripting, and integration, along with a solid understanding of treasury and capital markets products. This role involves working closely with front office, risk, and operations teams to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Design, develop, and support solutions within the **Calypso platform**
-   Work on **Calypso scripting, APIs, and customization**
-   Collaborate with business stakeholders across **Front Office, Risk, and Operations**
-   Handle **trade lifecycle management** including trade capture, validation, settlement, and reporting
-   Develop and support **integration frameworks** using REST APIs, FIX, and Kafka
-   Work on **pricing, valuation, and risk calculations**
-   Manage **scheduled tasks, workflows, and engine configurations**
-   Ensure system stability, performance tuning, and issue resolution
-   Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and production support

### **Required Skills & Experience**

-   Minimum **5+ years of hands-on experience in Calypso**
-   Strong understanding of **Calypso architecture and core modules**
-   Experience with **Calypso APIs and scripting**
-   Solid knowledge of **Equity and Treasury products**, including:

-   FX / Money Market
-   Bonds / Repo
-   Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
-   Cross Currency Swaps (CCS)
-   Credit Default Swaps (CDS)

-   Good understanding of **trade lifecycle processes**
-   Experience in **settlement, accounting, reporting, workflows, and scheduled tasks**
-   Hands-on experience with **Front Office module (Workstation, Pricing Sheet)**
-   Strong programming skills in **Core Java**
-   Good experience with **Oracle Database (SQL/PLSQL)**
-   Understanding of **REST API frameworks**
-   Familiarity with **real-time integration patterns (FIX/Kafka)**

### **Good to Have**

-   Experience with **Calypso Risk Modules (ERS, Limits)**
-   Knowledge of **regulatory frameworks such as SA-CCR, FRTB**
-   Exposure to **banking or financial services domain in GCC**
