## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled **DevOps Automation Engineer** with strong expertise in **automation pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Oracle database environments**. This role sits within the Technology Engineering team and focuses on building scalable, reliable, and efficient automation solutions across technology and data platforms.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Design, develop, and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** using tools like Jenkins and Git
-   Automate infrastructure provisioning using **Terraform (IaaS)**
-   Develop and manage automation scripts using **Groovy, Ansible**, and other scripting tools
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement **DevOps best practices**
-   Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of systems and pipelines
-   Integrate and manage automation workflows across **cloud and on-prem environments**
-   Support and optimize **Oracle database environments** (preferred)
-   Maintain code quality through **best-practice coding standards and version control**
-   Troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize deployment processes
-   Participate in **Agile ceremonies** including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives
-   Manage tasks and workflows using tools like **JIRA (user stories, boards, tracking)**

### **Required Skills & Experience**

-   Strong hands-on experience with:

-   **Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)**
-   **Ansible (configuration management)**
-   **Git (version control)**
-   **Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)**
-   **Groovy scripting**

-   Solid understanding of **Cloud DevOps & IaaS architecture**
-   Experience in building and maintaining **automation frameworks**
-   Knowledge of **software development lifecycle (SDLC)** and DevOps practices
-   Familiarity with **Agile methodologies** (Scrum, Kanban)

### **Preferred Skills**

-   Experience working as or with an **Oracle DBA**
-   Knowledge of **database automation and performance tuning**
-   Exposure to **enterprise-level banking or financial systems**
-   Experience with monitoring tools and logging frameworks

### **Qualifications**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
-   3–7 years of relevant experience in DevOps / Automation Engineering
