# Network Security & Infrastructure Engineer

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Technology Engineer with strong expertise in Network Security and Network Infrastructure to support large-scale enterprise network and security operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing firewalls, load balancers, proxy technologies, micro-segmentation platforms, external DNS, CDN services, and network security management tools within complex enterprise environments.

The role will focus on network security operations, decommission initiatives, software upgrade programs, infrastructure change management, incident management, disaster recovery activities, and automation validation across the network security landscape.

## Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Execute decommission activities across the network security environment, including:

-   Removal of IP addresses
-   External DNS entry decommissioning
-   SSL certificate removal
-   Service decommissioning activities

• Perform configuration changes and implementation activities across:

-   Firewalls
-   Load Balancers
-   Proxy Platforms
-   Micro-Segmentation Solutions
-   External DNS Infrastructure
-   CDN Services

• Plan, coordinate, and execute software upgrades across:

-   Firewalls
-   Load Balancers
-   Proxy Infrastructure
-   Micro-Segmentation Platforms
-   Network Security Management Applications

• Support enterprise change management processes including:

-   Change Request creation
-   Risk assessment
-   Change implementation
-   Change validation
-   Stakeholder coordination
-   CAB approvals

• Create and maintain:

-   Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
-   Runbooks
-   Technical documentation
-   Operational procedures

• Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority incidents affecting:

-   Firewalls
-   Load Balancers
-   Proxy Infrastructure
-   Micro-Segmentation Platforms
-   External DNS Services
-   CDN Services
-   DDoS Protection Solutions

• Provide technical guidance and support to L2 Operations teams during critical incidents and emergency change implementations.

• Execute planned Disaster Recovery (DR) activities and infrastructure recovery exercises.

• Support project go-live activities and provide implementation support for newly released solutions and services.

• Participate in automation initiatives by:

-   Performing automation validation and regression testing
-   Acting as an early adopter of newly developed automation tools
-   Providing operational feedback to automation engineering teams
-   Identifying opportunities for operational efficiency improvements

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Network Security and Network Infrastructure operations.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
