## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Software Engineer – Finacle Automation** (6–10 years of experience) to join our growing banking technology team in Chennai.

The ideal candidate will combine deep functional knowledge of the **Finacle 11X** core banking ecosystem with strong technical programming skills in **Node.js** and automation frameworks. You will be responsible for creating robust, in-sprint automation suites, leveraging Finacle scripting for deep log validation, and ensuring the seamless integration of enterprise core banking modules.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities

### 1\. Test Automation Engineering & Node.js Testing

-   Architect, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites utilizing **Playwright with Node.js** or **Selenium with Java**.
-   Perform seamless, execution-focused **in-sprint automation testing** tightly aligned with fast-paced Agile delivery cycles.
-   Design and execute advanced automation scripts to validate **SOAP and REST Finacle APIs** as part of a continuous integration pipeline.

### 2\. Finacle Core Validation & Technical Scripting

-   Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for **Finacle 11X core banking**, focusing specifically on **CRM, Core Banking, and Payments** modules.
-   Validate end-to-end complex functional business flows covering **Assets and Liabilities** tracks.
-   Utilize **Finacle scripting** methodologies and technical log validation techniques to isolate, debug, and troubleshoot complex application defects.

### 3\. Database & Data Integration

-   Perform backend data integrity validation using **FIXML** messaging structures and writing advanced **SQL** queries.
-   Collaborate closely with cross-functional software engineering squads to optimize test execution and lower platform regression risks.

### Technical Specifications & Skills

### Core Technical Stack (Essential)

-   **Finacle Expertise:** Strong Finacle testing experience, with an absolute preference for **Finacle 11X**.
-   **Finacle Modules:** Direct, hands-on functional exposure to **CRM, Core, and Payments** modules.
-   **Automation Frameworks:** Strong proficiency in **Playwright (Node.js)** or **Selenium (Java)** for web test automation.
-   **API & Integration:** Deep familiarity with validating **SOAP / REST APIs** and understanding **FIXML** data formats.
-   **Database:** Working knowledge of backend data validation using **SQL**.

### Preferred Technical Capabilities

-   Hands-on experience or structural knowledge of **Finacle scripting** and advanced application log validation.
-   Prior experience acting as a quality or test engineer on large-scale **Finacle implementation** or migration projects.
-   Solid domain understanding of banking operations across **Assets and Liabilities** portfolios.

### Qualifications & Experience

-   **Experience Level:** **6 to 10 years** of professional experience in core banking software testing and automation engineering.
-   **Education:** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a strictly equivalent technical field.
-   **Soft Skills:** Strong analytical debugging skills, an agile mindset, and excellent verbal/written communication skills to present findings to core delivery partners.
