### **Your Role**

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will:

-   Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
-   Assist in treating patients with upper extremity and hand conditions, including post-surgical and non-surgical diagnoses.
-   Fabricate and adjust orthoses as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
-   Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and functional activities.
-   Accurately document patient progress and communicate treatment updates with the clinical team.
-   Collaborate with therapists and support staff to provide outstanding patient-centered care.

## Requirements

-   Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
-   Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Texas.
-   Experience in **hand therapy** is required.
-   Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
-   Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
-   CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
