**Patient Account Collections Manager | Full-time | Remote**

We are looking for a skilled Patient Account Collections Manager to lead our collections team, ensuring the highest level of performance in resolving accounts receivable while cultivating a culture of excellence and collaboration.

**Your Role:**

As the Patient Account Collections Manager, you will oversee all aspects of collections operations, from developing strategies for improvement to ensuring compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.

-   Lead and mentor the collections team, providing training and support to enhance skills and performance.
-   Develop and implement collections strategies to minimize days sales outstanding (DSO) and maximize collections.
-   Analyze accounts receivable aging reports and identify trends for proactive account management.
-   Monitor collections metrics and performance indicators, and report results to senior management.
-   Collaborate with other departments to address billing discrepancies, patient inquiries, and payer issues.
-   Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements related to patient accounts.
-   Evaluate and improve collections processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
-   Maintain positive relationships with patients, fostering trust and communication throughout the collections process.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

-   A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical collections, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
-   In-depth understanding of medical billing, coding, and payer regulations.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and drive improvement.
-   Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
-   Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-   Proficient in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
