H2 Health Kids is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our pediatric outpatient team in Tyler, Texas. This PRN opportunity is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about helping children develop the skills needed to participate more fully in everyday life. At H2 Health Kids, you'll work alongside experienced therapists providing pediatric occupational therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, neurological conditions, genetic disorders, and other developmental needs. Our team utilizes engaging, play-based interventions designed to promote independence, participation, and success across home, school, and community environments.

**Your Role**

-   Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
-   Provide hands-on pediatric occupational therapy interventions focused on fine motor development, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care skills, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
-   Utilize engaging, play-based treatment approaches that support skill development and participation.
-   Document patient care and progress using the Raintree EMR platform.
-   Collaborate closely with the supervising Occupational Therapist regarding patient progress and plan of care modifications.
-   Educate and partner with families and caregivers to encourage consistency and carryover of therapeutic strategies.
-   Support a positive, collaborative clinical environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes.

## Requirements

-   Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
-   Current Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
-   CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
-   Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
-   Passion for working with children with developmental, sensory, and neurological needs.
-   Commitment to compassionate, family-centered care.
