## Description

HanmiGlobal Saudi invites applications for the position of **Senior Materials Engineer**. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of material selection, testing, and performance evaluation for construction projects, ensuring the optimal use of materials in accordance with project requirements and industry standards. This role involves close collaboration with project management, quality assurance teams, and contractors to ensure materials meet safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness criteria.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Manage and supervise the selection, testing, and approval of construction materials.
-   Coordinate with laboratories to conduct material testing and analyze results.
-   Review material certifications and ensure compliance with project specifications.
-   Advise project teams on material properties, durability, and suitability.
-   Develop and implement material quality control plans and procedures.
-   Monitor material procurement and usage to ensure standards are met.
-   Address and resolve any material-related issues during project execution.
-   Prepare detailed reports and maintain comprehensive records of materials data.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
-   Minimum 15 years experience in materials engineering within the construction or infrastructure sector.
-   Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing methods, and relevant standards.
-   Experience with quality control processes and lab testing coordination.
-   Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-   Able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.
-   Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction codes and regulations is advantageous.
