## Description

**Position Summary**

**HanmiGlobal Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified Mechanical Inspector to join its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for a major residential development project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and applicable engineering codes throughout the construction and commissioning phases.**

**Project: Major Residential Development Project**

**Key Responsibilities**

-   **Inspect mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, LPG (where applicable), chilled water systems, and associated building services.**
-   **Review contractor Inspection Requests (IRs) and conduct inspections in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).**
-   **Verify that installed materials comply with approved material submittals and project specifications.**
-   **Witness pressure testing, flushing, balancing, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.**
-   **Identify non-conforming works and issue inspection observations and reports.**
-   **Verify completion of corrective actions before approving completed works.**
-   **Coordinate inspections with Resident Engineers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.**
-   **Review inspection reports, testing records, and quality documentation.**
-   **Maintain accurate inspection logs and daily reports.**
-   **Participate in quality audits and project handover inspections.**
-   **Ensure compliance with Quality, HSE, Environmental, and project governance requirements.**

## Requirements

**Qualifications**

-   **Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.**
-   **Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (where applicable).**

**Experience**

-   **Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector.**
-   **Previous experience on residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.**
-   **Experience with PMC, engineering consultants, or international contractors is preferred.**

**Technical Skills**

-   **Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.**
-   **Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and relevant international standards.**
-   **Ability to review shop drawings and inspection documentation.**
-   **Experience with testing and commissioning procedures.**
-   **Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.**

**Professional Certifications**

-   **Saudi Council of Engineers Registration (preferred).**
-   **Mechanical inspection or QA/QC certifications are considered an advantage.**
